Side sun umbrellas provide shade over large terraces, poolside areas, or garden seating. They usually have a side pole design so nothing gets in your way, and often include a stand.
The most common option is a garden umbrella with a metal frame, usually made from steel, aluminum, or alloy. The frame should have a protective coating to shield it against weather effects.
Square sun umbrella
The garden, terrace, or balcony are perfect spots to create welcoming shade for relaxing moments. Choose the right canopy shape based on where you plan to place the sun umbrella and your design preferences.
Square sun umbrellas are ideal for symmetrical spaces, offering maximum shade.
Size of the sun umbrella
Not sure about the right size? When deciding, consider how much shade you need and therefore what umbrella diameter is necessary. Models with a 230 cm diameter are common, but 3 m or even 4 m garden sun umbrellas are also available.
For rectangular and square sun umbrellas, the side length is indicated.
