Plush toys
Plush toys usually accompany children from birth as best friends and comfort givers.
A plush toy has especially high educational value:
Soft toys are usually soft and plush. When a child is born, their first friend is often a textile companion. From this moment a special bond develops. Their little friend is not just a toy, but also a best friend and confidant.
In case of uncertainty or new situations, a favorite plush toy gives children stability and security.

Soft toys are ideal sleep aids thanks to their calming effect. Because children see their plushie as a living being, it often takes part in imaginative play. Thanks to their soft feel and varied surfaces, a plush toy is perfect for developing hand coordination and sensory skills through grasping and touch.
Quality, safety and care
As an important childhood companion, the plush teddy bear is in constant use. It often stays not only in bed or the children’s room but also goes along with the child to kindergarten, on walks, and to playdates. A high-quality plush toy handles this daily adventure well and comforts the child for a long time.
The safety of plush toys can be recognized by the CE mark. This mandatory marking appears on all toys sold in the EU. It means the manufacturer guarantees—under their own responsibility—that the product meets the EN 71 safety standard.
To make sure these toys are not only safe for play but also hygienic, you should choose teddy bears or other plush toys that are easy to clean. Most plush toys today are made from easy-care plush material and filled with wadding or beads, making care simple. For light stains, just wipe the toy with a damp cloth, but regular washing is especially important for models used by babies and toddlers.
When buying, check if the toy can be washed in a washing machine or at least by hand. If the child is sick, you can use a disinfectant. Plushies should not be hung with clothespins to dry after washing as this can deform them. Instead, lay them flat on a towel and turn them after a while. For long-lasting colors, plush toys should not dry in the sun. Finally, brush the fur of your plush friends so they look as good as new.
